From where can I configure the negative marking setting for a quiz for an existing course?
In order to configure the negative marking setting for a quiz, you can:
1 Click on the “Courses” in the side-navigation bar.
2. Select “Manage Courses” from here.
3. Click on the drop-down indicated by three dots against the course for which the negative marking setting is to be configured.
4. Click on “Edit”
5. Once done, click on the “Course Modules” tab as shown in the screenshot below.
6. Click on the module for which the negative marking setting is to be configured.
7. Once done, edit the quiz by clicking on the pen icon against the quiz.
8.Click on “Edit Quiz” in the pop-up as shown in the screenshot below.
9. Click on the “Tools” button on the screen as shown below.
10. Once done, select the "Settings" tab to make the changes in these settings.
11. Click on the “Yes” button against the “Negative Marking” settings.
12. Set the deduction to be made in case of a wrong answer.
13. Choose whether you want deductions to be made based on the marks or percent from here.
14. Save once done.
