How can Optional Course fields be added?

How can Optional Course fields be added?

In order to add the “Optional fields”, you can:

  1. Click on “Settings” in the navigation bar on the left

  2. Select “General”

  1. Select the “Course” tab as shown in the screenshot below

  2. Click on the button to Enable the one(s) you want to choose.

  3. Click “Save” to save the changes.

 The various optional fields are:

  1. Author - You can add the name of the author if this setting is enabled.
  2. Prerequisites - Can be selected if the course to be taken needs a few prerequisites to be met for the course.
  3. Format - The format of the course can be added here.
  4. Objectives - As the name says, the objectives can be added about the course
  5. Learning Outcomes - Here, you can mention the details about the outcomes after the course is completed.
  6. Class Size - Size of every batch.
  7. Study hours per week - Number of hours every week
  8. FAQs - You can add FAQs about the course, if any, over here.
  9. Restrict discussions to a batch - This setting needs to be enabled if the discussions need to be restricted to a batch.
  10. Use shortened URL by bit.ly for certificate link - This can be used if the academy is using certificates & if they want provision certificate links.
