How to add a cover image for a course?
You can add a cover image for your course under the Course Overview section. The course image can be added or edited:
To do this you may:
- Click on "Courses".
- Click on "Manage Courses".
- Click on "Edit".
- Click on Select Image to add a cover image for your course in the Course Overview.
A pop-up will appear for uploading the image file saved on your system. The recommended dimensions for the cover image are 300x200 px while the supported file formats include jpeg and png. The image can be a maximum of 500 KB.
Once you have added the image from your system, the preview of the image will appear along with a resize tool. You can edit the image by zooming in or out using this tool, in case your image doesn't match the recommended dimensions.
Click on upload to go back to the course overview.
This cover image will show up in the course catalog, and course overview page for instructor and learner.
