The terms of service are already published on my website. Why do I need it on my LMS?

The terms of service are displayed in two places - during sign-in and then on the checkout page. Hence you need to enter it on the LMS as well.

 'Terms of Service' usually contains the firms 'Refund Policies', 'Cancellation Policies' etc. It is essential to have these on the platform so students can access them.
